Mercedes-Benz will not disappoint with this upcoming model. Ola Kallenius, Director of Corporate Research at Daimler AG and Mercedes-Benz Cars development, said: “The new GLE is not only more comfortable than ever before on the road, but also shows its superior off-road character off the beaten track. It’s an example of our determination to reinforce our claim to leadership in the SUV segment. Significantly more space in the interior, considerably extended and refined assistance systems, the best aerodynamics in the segment, a new range of engines and numerous other innovations emphatically underline this.”

Key Features in the 2020 GLE Model will include:

An in-line six-cylinder engine with EQ Boost: The Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC model is powered by a 6-cylinder engine matched with a 48-volt technology. Additionally, the integrated starter generator is behind all the hybrid functions such as EQ Boost and energy recuperation – anther fuel saving hybrid technology feature.

Active Stop-and-Go Assist: Recognizing traffic situations on highways is one of the GLE’s many features. It allows the vehicle to recognize various traffic situations and actively support the driver in stop-and-go traffic.
