GLC vs. X3: Premium Features

When it comes to comfort features, the Mercedes-Benz GLC and BMW X3 both include driver memory settings, a power liftgate, and adjustable drive modes. Technology is another story, though. The GLC received multiple technology upgrades for the 2020 model year, thanks largely to the addition of Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX). Accompanying this new infotainment system are the following exclusive features:

  • 260-mm touchscreen multimedia display
  • “Hey, Mercedes-Benz” keyword activation
  • Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™
  • Steering wheel with Touch Control Buttons
  • Three 12-volt DC power outlet
  • Optional 312-mm digital instrument cluster
  • Optional MB Navigation

The 2019 BMW X3 comes standard with just two DC power outlets, a 165-mm infotainment display, and Apple CarPlay® — Android Auto™ isn’t available even as an option.
