Mount Chinquacousy: a Mercedes-Benz Brampton Favorite
If you live in Brampton, you’re probably like us at Mercedes-Benz Brampton. We love to go to Mount Chinguacousy with our friends and family! It’s such a great winter recreation area. Whether you want private skiing or snowboarding lessons or are ready to hit the slopes or Tube Hill, it’s the perfect way to spend the day.
But there’s more to it than skiing, snowboarding and tubing. There’s a curling facility, winterized tennis courts and lots of great summer activities and facilities, as well. While we’ve still got months of winter ahead of us, it’s always nice to look forward to summer activities at the Park, like mini-putt golf, paddle boats, the petting zoo, splash pad, children’s playground and, of course, the formal gardens and greenhouse. It’s easy to see why we’re called Flower City when you stroll through the gardens! There are also great summer camps for kids and teens during the summer. And the carnivals and annual festivals there create great memories.
All of us locals call it Chinguacousy Park, but the formal name is Donald M. Gordon Chinguacousy Park. But did you know Chinguacousy means “Young Pine River?” How’s that for great trivia?
