The Mercedes-Benz GLA45 AMG is equipped with a powerful engine that makes for a high-performing driving experience. The engines are powerful enough to support the 3,589 pound weighing car’s abilities on the road.

The GLA45 is primarily front-wheel drive, but it is available in four-wheel drive as well. The launch control allows the drive system to channel up to 50% of the output to the rear axle. It allows the hatchback to race like a sports car. It takes the GLA45 only 4.2 seconds to complete a sprint to 60 mph. The quarter mile run is completed at 109 mph in just 12.8 seconds.

The standard seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission allows for swift shifts. The rapid shifts balance the slow turbo. There are 3 driving modes available – Eco, Sport, and Manual. The reaction and handling of the shift is dependent on the driving mode. It ranges from relaxed to aggressive.

The GLA45 averaged a 20 mpg over a distance of 1500 miles. The EPA had given estimated figures of 23 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highways.
