The Mercedes-Benz Urban Minivan Is Well Done

May 17th, 2017 by

#MercedesBenzBrampton of Toronto carries one of the most surprising minivans on the market in the Metris. It is ‘urban’ because it is small enough to fit in city garages, park in streets and navigate through traffic.

The Metris comes with a turbocharged engine that gets 208-horsepower gasoline to provide more kick than its rivals such as the Ford Transit Connect, Nissan NV200 and Dodge Ram ProMaster. It gives you this kick while still being fuel-efficient with an engine that uses premium fuel to get its 20 miles per gallon city and 23 miles per gallon highway. The engine itself is a 2.0-liter, 16-valve four cylinder that comes with variable-valve lift and timing. It combines with a seven-speed automatic transmission for maximum efficiency.

The maximum utility of 186 cubic feet in the base model offers more usable passenger and cargo space than its competitors. There is seating for up to seven people and cargo space with all seats in place is 38 cubic feet. Safety features are abundant with four-wheel disc brakes, four-wheel anti-lock protection, emergency braking assistance and stability control, dusk-sensing headlamps and front, side, rear and third-row airbags.

There are four available trim levels: base Cargo, Worker Cargo, Passenger and Worker Passenger. The Passenger models can be fitted with onboard navigation and a 5.5-inch info screen. The whole package comes together for a fun and easy-to-drive van that is useful for small businesses or large families.
