The Sprinter from Mercedes-Benz has become a force to reckon with in the commercial vehicle segment. The vehicle was designed and constructed upon the rich experience level of Mercedes-Benz in the commercial vehicle segment. The Sprinter is a cargo van that can accommodate up to 5 passengers or a passenger van that has space for a maximum of 12 passengers, a simple cab-chassis or a minibus that has an ability to comfortably seat up to 18 adult passengers.

All Mercedes-Benz Sprinter cars for the year 2016 feature traction and stability control, rollover mitigation and front airbags. All models of Sprinter 2500 have standard features such as airbags for the front and side as well as Crosswind Assist that makes use of targeted breaks for speeds higher than 50 miles per hour to offer additional stability control.

Optional safety attributes of the Sprinter include side airbags for front passengers and driver, side airbag for driver, rear and front parking sensors, curtain airbags in the front side, and a rearview camera among others. There is a Driver Assistance package offered by the Sprinter that includes a forward collision warning system, automatic high-beam control, a blind-spot warning system and lane-departure prevention features.
