The Sprinter 4×4 Van from Mercedes-Benz Is Built for a Family Vacation

There are some vehicles that spell out what they’re all about when you lay eyes on them for the first time. The Sprinter Passenger Van from Mercedes-Benz falls in to that category. If you’re zooming past in one then you’ll turn heads; some because of its size, and some because of its design. Either way, you’ll be zooming by with your family and friends with you, because this powerhouse is built for maximum capacity.

Design

The Sprinter 4×4 Passenger Van 2500 from Mercedes-Benz comes in two configurations, the Standard Roof 144 WB and the High Roof 144 WB. The difference between the two is in payload capacity and cargo volume. Both of them have the same 3.0 Liter Turbocharged BluTECH Diesel engine with 188 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. The models both have a 5-speed transmission and lightweight design to handle maximum capacity and to not add to the weight.

The models have a maximum capacity of 1203 kg and a seating capacity of up to 12 people. This means you can take your friends and family along for a picnic, a hiking trip or even a road trip to a canyon or a lake, and you can be full to capacity and read for action. There are even spacious side doors for entry and exit. This can allow for a roomy entry and exit in to a proportionally spaced out vehicle.

Features

The Sprinter 4×4 Passenger Van is built to handle maximum capacity and steering. Hence it has a slew of features that make it easier for drivers to handle the weight of the vehicle and the payload. The Sprinter 4×4 Passenger Van has a low-gear differential that helps to navigate steep grades and to tow heavy trailers. This allows the maneuvering between tight corners and weaving roads. It’s even helpful on rough terrain.

The second feature is ADAPTIVE ESP, which is an electronically engaged system to apply individual force on tires. It can eliminate 4×4 differential locks. During the time of engagement, wheels can be braked so that the vehicle doesn’t tip over, steer out of control and cause an accident. There is advanced directional stability and effective road adhesion in snow.

Vincentric Award

The Sprinter 4×4 Passenger Van also has won the best fleet value award from Vincentric 7 years running. That means that for seven years, nothing has been able to beat the Sprinter Passenger Van for the title in best in value. This means that you can rest easy, knowing that you’ve purchased a vehicle that is the best value you can ever get.

The Award is given for the best value in over 1800 configurations of vehicles that can provide the best options and features and value for money.

This finally brings us to cost of ownership. The Sprinter 4×4 Passenger Van from Mercedes-Benz will save you tremendous amounts of money and decrease the total cost of ownership.
