If not, you can take it to a repair shop and get an estimate. Some companies will come out and give you an estimate. They can come to your home or office, making it very convenient to have it repaired. When a chip is repaired, the work is usually not visible and in almost every case it will prevent the chip from becoming a crack. If your windshield has a crack, it’s important to replace your windshield. The last thing you want is for your windshield to shatter while you are driving around.
